Fayetteville Homeschool Christian Athletics
|
|
A ministry of Open Arms
Christian Fellowship. FHCA offers competitive homeschool sports programs in
volleyball, basketball and soccer for homeschoolers in the Fayetteville, NC
area. Through these sports, we focus on Christian values and the total
development of the individual. Our program offers an atmosphere and
environment that is conducive to helping young athletes reach their fullest
potential. We are a member of the North Carolinians for Home Education
Athletic Conference. However, we play not only other homeschool teams but
also local Christian schools from Fayetteville, Lumberton, Dunn and
Sanford. All of these sports are demanding and take time, effort,
dedication, and perseverance and instill self-esteem and the value of
teamwork. FHCA creates an environment that is fun, educational and
competitive in scope. FHCA teaches focus, a strong work ethic, leadership
skills, goal setting and the value of education; we strive for every member
of FHCA to become a better athlete, person, and, most importantly, Christian.
Currently basketball and volleyball practices and home games are held at
Massey Hill Baptist Church Gym on Southern Ave. Soccer practice is held at
Church of the Open Door on Cliffdale.
